This week, Year 3 stepped into the role of apprentice tea tasters during their Literacy lesson, as they began exploring their new class text Cloud Tea Monkeys by Mal Peet and Elspeth Graham.

Inspired by the story, the children took part in a hands-on workshop where they sampled a variety of teas, carefully describing each one using rich and imaginative vocabulary. They considered the aroma, taste, and even the potential health benefits of each blend, developing their descriptive writing skills along the way. We are delighted to share that every pupil successfully passed the workshop, demonstrating excellent focus, curiosity, and enthusiasm for their learning!
