On Tuesday 4th February, the Year 5 class were trained by Ms Boon and Miss Mitchell as School Wellbeing Ambassadors.
The training included a pack of work that the children brought home, alongside chatterboxes and a bingo game.
The children had such fun learning about the 5 Ways to Wellbeing:
- Connect,
- Keep Learning,
- Be Active,
- Take Notice and
- Giving.
Although all the children have had the training, Ms Boon and I have asked the children to decide if they would like to become Wellbeing Ambassador’s for the school. This role will involve being available at lunchtime and breaktime to help other children on the playground and having meetings with Ms Boon.
We are encouraging all the children to have a go at being an ambassador as this is a fantastic opportunity.
