As you may know, every summer term the children decide on a class Love Project. Throughout the year we show Love as a school community through our charity work and support of ‘LoveWorks’ and ‘The Renewed Hope Trust’.
As a class we decided to host a tea party for Grandparents in our school hall on the afternoon of Thursday 16th July. The event started at 1.30pm and the children invited their grandparents along. We also welcomed other adults if any children’s Grandparents were unable to attend. It was lovely to see so many Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and other relatives all together enjoying tea and cake. It was also lovely to see the return of Mrs Hancock who joined us to enjoy some tea and cake, bringing her two children, Daisy and Holly. It was also great to see Miss Mitchell and her baby Bonnie.
May we take this opportunity to thank Mrs Boyle for organising the event with the support of Mrs Cordey and Miss Constantin. We took some pictures of the event, which can be seen in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails for a larger view.
