This week, Year 3 welcomed their families into school to take part in their very own French Café experience.

The children put their French vocabulary into action as they greeted their guests, asked what they would like from the menu and confidently served their family members. It was wonderful to see them using their language skills in a fun and meaningful way.

After enjoying their café experience, the children worked alongside their families to complete a French Café wordsearch, putting their knowledge of French words to the test.

A fantastic time was had by all, and the beautiful sunshine made it the perfect afternoon to celebrate the children’s French learning together.
