This afternoon, our Reception class were visited by Mrs Measures, a Reception child’s parent and a Vet from Carewell Vets in St Pier’s Lane, Lingfield. 

Mrs Measures spoke to the children about looking after pets and things to look out for that can be picked up by your dog, cat or most domestic animals that could make them feel poorly such as fleas or ticks.

We also found out how to prepare a pet for surgery as you can see in the pictures below. The children thoroughly enjoyed the visit and look forward to seeing Mrs Measures again.
