This half term in Year 2 it’s been all about the apples! We have had a huge crop of apples from our apple tree in trinity garden. At the beginning of the term we began harvesting them and giving them to staff, friends and family. We have been busy collecting more from the tree and collecting those that have fallen and need to be thrown away.

Also we have been clearing the beds of weeds ready for the spring when we can begin to plant. We are hoping to put them to good use to make some apple muffins or even toffee apples for bonfire night! After half term we will be growing some herbs in the greenhouse and we will be making some winter baskets to put around the school.
