On Thursday 21st May year two were visited by one of the children’s grand parents who is an avid beekeeper.
Mr King spoke at length about his passion for Bees and why they are so important for the environment. The children were gripped at how the Bee community lives and works together. He also brought in part of the hive that carries the honeycomb where the Bees make their delicious honey.
We took some pictures on the day, which can be seen in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails for a larger view. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr King for his amazing presentation and for teaching us so much about the wonderful world of Bees. We would love to see him again and again.
