This week, year two had the opportunity to meet a a fabulous person who works alongside Firefighters from the Surrey Fire and Rescue Service! The children learnt all about this fantastic, exciting and courageous profession.
Our guest spoke about what Firefighters do. What we should do in case of a fire using the slogan “Get out, Stay out, Call 999!”
During the visit, we also watched a film entitled “Hunt the Floof”, which gave us some great guidance on how to stay safe around matches, lighters and fires in general and what we should do in the case of an emergency.
We took some pictures of the visit, which can be seen in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails for a larger view.
