To celebrate MFL day on September 26th we invited children to complete one or more of the following activities at home over the weeks leading up to our celebration day, which took place last Thursday.
- Film yourself speaking in French. This could be saying hello, goodbye, singing a song or counting.
- Create a fact file on a famous French artist of your choosing. Can you try to create your own piece of artwork in a similar style.
- Create a poster that shows where you live in French and label the places in your town.
- Eat some French food and write a review.
- Use plastic straws, Lego or any other construction materials you have at home to create a model of the Eifel Tower.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the children who took part. It was a joy to see your amazing entries. We have chosen two of the entries from our children, which can be seen here. We have a short video (above) from a very talented young lady speaking and counting in French and a selection of pictures (below) showing the Eifel Tower very professionally constructed using Lego.
