Our key Christian value this half term is Community. We will be talking to the children about our school community and the communities around us.

Our Bible verse for the half term is pertinent for our children in these times. Loving our neighbour as ourselves is a principle for us all. Whether we are Christian, from another faith, have no religious affiliation we can all recognise the need to ‘love our neighbours’.

We encourage the children to play together, explore differences, celebrate diversity and be as accepting of others’ beliefs. We recognise the need to stand up against unfairness and explore with them how to disagree peacefully.
