Once again children in Year 5 have created a stunning display of ‘handcrafted plastic’ poppies which are proudly adoring the front of Nutfield Church school to commemorate Armistice Day.
From the pictures below, you will notice that among the Poppies planted by our Year 5 children today there are also some wooden crosses. The names of some of the brave men who laid down their lives at the great wars are displayed on these crosses in the front of the school.
On Thursday 11th November at 11.0’clock, Nutfield Church Primary School joined with members of the British Legion to honour those who had died in both the Great Wars.
