Today Reception Class are going to do an art project based on the work of British artist, Andy Goldsworthy.

Andy Goldswory is a British artist, known for his sculptures and photography, he is also an environmentalist. He makes sculptures with natural materials on sites in the UK and around the world. He has made them in forests, cities, lakes and fields.

The children brought in some natural materials from home such as sticks, stones, leaves and flower heads so that they could make a self portrait using these materials. They all did an amazing job as you can see in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails for a larger view.
