This week was Spring Term Assessment week. The children have been assessed in Reading, Writing and Maths.

The purpose of this is to enable us to identify any gaps in your child’s learning so that we know how best to support them. It also gives us insight into the progress they have made. Knowing this allows us to address any gaps promptly so your child can continue to make the best possible progress.

I am very proud of how hard the children have worked over the course of this term. They are a credit to you all. In preparation for their SATs, the children sat the special challenges in the school hall. It was so happy to hear all of their positive comments, with many preferring that environment.
