This half term, as part of our focus on the British Value, Democracy, year 1 – 6 have been talking in their classes and during Phase Collective Worship about democracy and why it is important.
We have also been learning some of the key vocabulary related to elections and Parliament. Over the last few weeks, the children have been considering the different teams we have in school: Pupil Parliament, Faith Team, Anti-Bullying Team and Eco Team. They have been thinking about the roles that the members of these teams perform for the school and the characteristics which are required and which are suited to each role.
