World Book Day took place this year on Thursday 6th March. It helps to encourage more children and families to find the fun and enjoyment in reading, because reading for pleasure changes lives. 

Throughout the day, children across the school enjoyed a plethora of fun reading activities and of course, we also had an amazing day trying to spot the many book characters that children and staff dressed as on the day.

Year 5 and Year 1 children gathered together as reading buddies to enjoy their favourite stories together, which can be seen in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails below for a larger view.
