In English, the children have continued writing their own adaptation of ‘The Iron Man’ by Ted Hughes.

They have now written their opening, build up and the problem paragraphs of their stories. Time was spent editing their work checking that they had used certain grammatical features including expanded noun phrases, conjunctions, fronted adverbials and direct speech.
