In English this week, the children have started our new text, ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ by C.S Lewis. We have learnt how to write relative clauses in relation to key aspects of the story so far.
The children did so well at this we have written them up to use for our English display board. We also thought about how the author uses the five senses (sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell) to engage the reader. The children were able to find evidence from the text to show how C.S Lewis had achieved this.
If you have time over the next week it would be useful for the children to have their own copies – any of the publications will be fine to use.
