Our topic in Geography this half term is all about weather. Building on from what they learnt in Year 1 the children have been exploring the seven elements of weather, the Beaufort wind scale, why we have day and night and the seasons.
This week we have learnt about the different climate zones in the world and the type of weather they experience focusing on tropical, artic, temperate and arid climates.
