The children have continued to focus on Reading comprehension this week in the penultimate week before their SATS.

They have been focusing hard on comprehension techniques to answer a variety of question types. We have looked at:

• Impression and evidence using statements
• Ordering of events
• Is it a fact or is it an opinion

The children have been working as pairs and teams to find the relevant information to support their answers. They have been looking at extracts from: WW2 journals VE Day, Endangered Animals, Gods of Egypt, The Three Mistakes and Bees.’
