Being in school and having the best attendance possible underpins all the many benefits of school for your child, such as their learning,
wellbeing and wider development. Good attendance is expected for all students at Nutfield Church Primary School. Since the beginning of the 2025/26 academic year, we are able to see which year groups has the best attendance.
- 1st: Year 6
- 2nd: Year 2
- 3rd: Year R
- 4th: Year 3
- 5th: Year 4
- 6th: Year 1
- 7th: Year 5

Every term we will look at which class has the overall best attendance and that particular Year group will receive extra play time at the end of term. Additionally, students that have an attendance of 100% will go into a draw to win a £10.00 Amazon voucher.
A reminder that the school gate opens at 8.45am and closes at 9.00am. The registers close at 9.05am. If pupils arrive at school after 9.05am this is deemed as late. Any arrival after 9.25am will be marked as a ‘U’ code and the lateness will be deemed as an unauthorised absence. Persistent lateness may be notified to the Inclusion Officer. In line with our normal practice we do ask that from next week at school drop off, Parents and Carers will need to say goodbye to their child/children at the gate and will not be permitted onto the school playground.
