It’s a wet but warm October Monday and the children in Reception Class are all very excited about the Halloween celebrations. 

They have all been telling us about the great costumes they have in readiness for “Trick or Treat” night. So that we can get ourselves ready for this fun and special day, we have been preparing some pumpkins for carving to be used as Halloween lanterns. Before we start carving our shapes for the lantern, we first need to hollow out the pumpkins. Here are some pictures of our children having fun getting our pumpkins ready for carving.
