Year 2 enjoyed an immersive visit to “Sparkfish” this week, where the children were transported back in time to the moment Jesus was born.

Throughout  the morning, we journeyed through all the key stages of the Christmas story, beginning with meeting Mary and witnessing the Angel Gabriel deliver God’s special message.

The children then had the opportunity to act out the scene where the angels appeared to the shepherds, before learning about the gifts brought by the Three Wise Men. Along the way, they even met some friendly farmyard animals, who shared their own unique ‘take’ on this important story.

The children were impeccably behaved throughout the trip, and we were incredibly proud of the way they represented our school. Thank you to Mrs. Wilkinson, Mrs. Anthony and Mrs. Flynn who accompanied Year 2 on this trip.
