
On Wednesday 10th – Friday 12th June, Year 5 went to Mercers Lake as part of our wider PE and sports curriculum.
The class did really well having the opportunity to try out a variety of water sports including; sailing, paddle boarding and raft building. Mrs. Rutter was very proud of them all particularly for showing great resilience and team work.
We think the PE curriculum offer of getting outside is really important in helping the children build skills as they journey through the school. We took some pictures of the trip, which can be seen in the gallery below.
