Welcome to another happy Monday and a brand new week of learning. Our theme for this week in Reception Class is “Space Travel”.
We have been reading “Man in the Moon” by Simon Bartram. We were inspired to create alien spacecrafts using paper plates, plastic cups and gold paint. We even made our own aliens out of playdoh!
In our small world area, the children have been re enacting a day in the life of Bob from the story “Man in the Moon” with space ships, moon buggies, space rocks and aliens.
