This week, as part of our Wellbeing Curriculum, we will be acknowledging Children’s Mental Health Week which is run across the nation by the children’s charity Place2Be. This year theme is ‘Know Yourself, Grow Yourself ’in partnership with Here4You, supported by The Walt Disney Company and the Inside Out 2 characters. The aim for this year’s theme is to encourage embracing self-awareness in order to build resilience, grow and develop.
Each year, Place2Be experts create fun and engaging resources for families, parents and carers to take part in Children’s Mental Health Week. If you would like to get involved as family, please click on the link to a range of resources https://www.childrensmentalhealthweek.org.uk/families/
Throughout the week, the children will be learning about this year’s theme through Monday’s Collective Worship and taking part in activities as part of their Wellbeing Lessons. Year 5 are very excited as they will be trained on Tuesday to become the first Wellbeing Ambassadors at Nutfield Church.
