Last Friday we welcomed Katrina from the Polka Theatre Company in Wimbledon. The children took part in an interactive re-telling of the traditional tale ‘Little Red Riding Hood.’
During the performance, the children were asked to take a walk through the forest, just like Little Red Riding Hood. As they journeyed through the forest, they met many different characters, which they interacted with using props and their imaginations.
At the end of the story they finally met the wolf and were asked, in groups of three, to make a wolf shape. One person being the ears, one the body and one the tail. Please see Tapestry for more images of the workshop.
