As part of a cross curricular activity, Year 5 children enjoyed a fabulous dance workshop with the Springs Dance Company.

The Springs Dance Company are a professional dance company, producing vibrant, life-enhancing dance for more than 45 years. Their mission is to improve lives and bring joy through dance. They partner with theatres, churches, schools and libraries to bring meaningful, accessible, transformative dance to everyone. The Springs Dance Company run a highly regarded education programme for people of all ages and abilities. In primary schools, they are the UK’s leading specialist in cross-curricular Dance and R.E. (Christianity).

Today, the Year 5 children were bringing the story of the Resurrection to life through the medium of contemporary dance. The wonderful Easter story was brought to life through dramatic movement, hand and leg stretches and poses emphasising the power of this amazing story.
