On Thursday 12th March, our Year 2 children set off on a wonderful adventure to visit the newly refurbished library at Redhill.
The children set off by train from Nutfield Station to Redhill and were greeted at the Library by Anna and Tina, The Redhill Librarians. After the initial introductions, everyone shared a story followed by a grand tour of this beautiful, fully stocked oasis of books and reading material.
Children who’s parents enrolled them at the library were given their library cards, which they were really excited about and everybody is looking forward to getting back to the library to enjoy more great reading time. A huge thank you to our tour guides for graciously giving up their time to show us around and read with us. We are all very grateful.
We took some pictures of our visit and journey, which can be seen in the gallery below. Please click on the thumbnails for a larger view.
