This week we have been learning about and researching Mary Anning who is a famous palaeontologist.
Mary Anning was an English fossil collector, dealer, and palaeontologist. She became known internationally for her discoveries in Jurassic marine fossil beds in the cliffs along the English Channel at Lyme Regis in the county of Dorset, Southwest England.
Over the year during show and tell, many of the children have shared fossils with the class which have been given or found during fossil hunts. The children have really enjoyed learning about this famous scientist and have written a fact file about her.
