On Friday 12th July during Collective Worship, we welcomed Mrs. Carole Knight from Redhill and Reigate Rotary Club. Rotary is a worldwide volunteer organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional and community leaders.

The purpose of Rotary is to improve communities through a range of humanitarian, intercultural and educational activities.  Mrs. Knight talked to the children about the impactful work of the Rotary club and then presented each child in Year 5 with their own dictionary.

The children were delighted with their dictionaries and can’t wait to put them into good use in Year 6! Thank you Redhill and Reigate Rotary club.
