Inspired by our English book ‘The Lost Thing’ each child has created their own Lost Thing story. Year 5 have all drawn their lost thing and learnt how to animate it.

They learnt about the importance of ensuring the colours are dark enough whilst scanning their drawings in, about the importance of correctly placing the animation points and about ensuring they have correctly selected the right parts of their Lost Thing.

They each put their characters into an animation program and picked the way the character moves or dances. They also learnt how to save the video to the iPads and as a class learnt how to upload the videos to the laptop.
