Thank you to everyone who attended our sports day for 2024, which took place on Thursday 27th June. It was lovely to have everyone back in school to enjoy the event together.

Many thanks to Mr Bowen who organised, led and managed the afternoon so well. A delighted St. David’s team won with a very narrow  winning score with St Patrick’s only two points behind. The Sports Day cup was presented to the team with its yellow ribbons on each handle. These ribbons stay on the cup all year until the next sports day.

We would like to particularly mention our Sports Leaders and buddies in Years 5 and 6 who were such great support to the younger children. This has always been the case in our school but seeing this happen again through the eyes of many of you who haven’t seen this yet was lovely. Thank you to those of you who particularly mentioned specific older children by name or description, I did pass this on to the parents of those children, who were all quite rightly, very proud indeed.
