Congratulations to our Year 6 pupils who came back from their residential last Friday. Their teachers told me how well behaved they were. Today’s celebrations celebrated their, resilience, positivity, independence, teamwork, optimism and resilience.
The children visited High Ashurst from Monday until Wednesday midday and then set off to the Thames Young Mariners for an amazing two and a half days of Kayaking, raft building, paddle boarding, dock jumping/swimming activities. Also, all of the children successfully completed an open water safety course where they were awarded a certificate, a merit badge and a keyring to remember their day. Camp in teepees.
Our thanks go to the teachers for helping us by going along, taking time from their own families to give the children this fabulous opportunity. Here are some of the children’s thoughts about the week.
