This week we our continuing our Superhero theme by learning about real life superheroes who work for the emergency services.
In the classroom:
- We created fires out of tissue paper for the firemen and firewomen to extinguish.
- We invented our own robbers, then made a ‘Wanted’ poster to catch them.
- For our Maths learning this week, we were given a map of the world and had to match the animal to their correct country.
Outdoor Learning:
- We used magnifying glasses to identify the tiny ‘Harder to Read and Spell’ words.
- We wrote secret messages with white crayons and painted over them in black paint to reveal them.
- We had a section of emergency vehicles with a piece of numicom attached to the back. We had to identify the number of the numicom piece and match it to the number of the house.
- We created a fireman’s ladder out of lolly sticks.
