On Thursday 7th October the school joined together with the community to celebrate Harvest. We were delighted to once again be able to hold our Harvest Service at Christ Church. It was wonderful that so many parents were also able to join us in our worship, especially many of our new Reception parents. The prayers were led by Faith Team, who confidently spoke in front of a packed congregation. We were also treated to a wonderful rendition of Big Red Combine Harvester by our Reception and KS1 children, who sang beautifully and with so much enthusiasm!
We would like to say a special thank you to Mrs Black, who accompanied us on the piano and of course all the team at Christ Church who helped with the smooth running of the service. We were overwhelmed with the generosity of the donations made to Open Hands Reigate, which is one of our ‘Love Projects’ for the Autumn term. Open Hands Reigate is a foodbank which is explicitly Christian but supports all those who are in need of its services. Thank you to you all, your contributions will make a big difference to those in need in our community.
