Congratulations to our Year 6 pupils who came back from their residential last Friday. Their teachers told me how well behaved they were. Today’s celebrations celebrated their, resilience, positivity, independence, teamwork, optimism and resilience.
Our thanks go to the teachers, Mrs Cox, Mr Peluso, Mrs Ross and Mrs Cordey for helping us by going along, taking time from their own families to give the children this fabulous opportunity. Here are some of the children’s thoughts about the week.
“My favourite bit was the climbing wall because it was quite hard and you had to trust yourself and your team mates (especially when you were blindfolded).” Theo
“I enjoyed the high ropes because you had to push yourself to get to the top of the Leap of Faith. You had to try to motivate yourself to jump off the platform!” Evie
“I enjoyed the orienteering because it used a lot of brain work to work out where the point were. It felt good when you found them.” Emmy
“I really pushed myself when I was mountain biking because I stood up when I was pedalling. It was an achievement I thought I couldn’t do.” Alfie
