On Friday we made magical ‘tree spirits.’ The children used their sense to explore the school grounds and gathered resources. They used their inner creativity to design their own ‘tree spirit.’ The children tore off handfuls of clay and using a flat surface they rolled the clay into a ball and then flattened it to form an oval shape.

The children then patted their clay shape onto the trunk. The children then explored the grounds to find natural embellishments to create a face or a pattern on their tree spirits.
