We are very grateful to our colleagues at St Bede’s who have, once again, agreed to help us by hosting a series of specialist Science lessons over the next few months for our lovely Year 5’s.

We are very pleased to be able to offer opportunities for our children to explore Science in a superb secondary setting. Our Science curriculum links closely for all classes with computing and design and technology. Thanks to our PTFA’s fundraising from last year, our equipment includes a set of brand new iPads.

Thank you to Miss Mitchell and the Year 5 team for organising these special lessons and to one of our parents, Mrs Failes (who will be teaching) for offering her spare teaching time to give our school this extended curriculum opportunity.

A letter will be going out to our Year 5 parents and carers next week with more details.
