Following the excellent response over the last few years, we once again decided to support the local charity Loveworks as one of our half termly ‘love projects.’ On Monday 10th January, Graham Humphries of Loveworks joined us in Collective Worship to talk about the importance of showing love and kindness to each other. One way we can do this is to offer a helping hand to those who need it most by donating much needed items to the Loveworks food bank.
Loveworks helps those in need of food and can also offer support with paying utility bills. To support Graham and his charity Loveworks, we ran our ‘Tin A Week’ project again. As the name suggests, we asked children to bring in one item a week for five weeks. Our aim was to reach at least 500 items. We are delighted to announce that we exceeded that total and as a school we bought in 545 items. Thank you so much for your support!
