This week Year 2 travelled to Reigate to hear ‘A Christmas Journey’. A play telling the story of Jesus’ birth. This visit really helps bring their RE learning to life. Some quotes from the children can be seen below:

Evie: “We enjoyed the storyteller, shepherds, wisemen, angels, and the song because it was fun. We learnt about Jesus’ birth.”

Imogen: “We liked the donkey because he said funny things and we liked the bit where Mary made bread.”

Harry: “We liked it when all the animals were describing what they saw in the stable! It was really funny!”

They have joined their Year 1 and EYFS friends in practising their Nativity. They are looking forward to seeing you there. The songs sound amazing already!
