We went to The Rose Theatre on Tuesday the 10th of February to see “The Boy at the Back of the Class” by Onjali Q Rauf.
The play is about a refugee boy who came from Syria via an orange boat. The set was a gym climbing frame that turned into many different sets like the playground, Buckingham Palace etc. My favourite scene was when a group of children were pretending to be spies because it was very funny and it made me laugh.
I learnt that everyone is different and we like it that way and that you don’t judge a person until you’ve walked in their shoes. I feel our behaviour was extremely appropriate at the theatre because we set a good example for of the other schools while they were being very silly and inappropriate.
We did our school proud.
